Le rendez-vous annuel de la titrisation en zone UEMOA et en Afrique

Le Forum africain sur la titrisation est initiative conjointe d Deloitte et Asafo & Co, en partenariat avec les 4 sociétés de gestion de fonds communs de titrisation agréées en zone UEMOA (Africa Link Capital Titrisation, BOAD Titrisation, Joseph Titrisation et KF Titrisation). Le forum est sponsorisé par le World Bank Group (IFC), la BOAD, la BRVM et GCR Ratings.

La titrisation est une technique financière qui consiste à transférer à des investisseurs des actifs financiers tels que des créances en les transformant en titres financiers émis sur le marché des capitaux via un véhicule financier dédié (appelé fond commun de titrisation en zone UEMOA). Cela permet à l’entreprise cédante de générer de la liquidité ou d’optimiser la taille et la structure de son bilan.

Le marché de la titrisation en Afrique est en croissance. Depuis 2014, un total de 12 opérations de titrisation ont été réalisées pour un montant de 1.065,8 milliards de francs CFA, dont six ont eu lieu au cours des années 2020 et 2021.

Cette plateforme a pour objectif de promouvoir la titrisation comme instrument de financement alternatif et complémentaire de l’économie en Afrique. Elle vise à réunir tous les acteurs de l’écosystème de la titrisation et à créer un cadre permanent d’échanges et de réflexion.
